The Application Software object class is a class of managed objects that serves as a superclass for the serviceDefinition objects and functionDefinition objects to allow installation of all of the service related functions and library functions. It allows the user to install a ServiceFunction Definition template or DeviceFunction Definition Template, as described in the serviceDefinition MO and functionDefinition MO.
