oZ-NBS-OZ — HL7 International OID Registry
OZ Telepathy NBS™ e-form is customized to capture details required for each specimen. The e-form leverages existing OZ NANI™ demographics feeds to the OZ eSP™ database to pre-populate details and minimize data entry errors. Data quality and accuracy are improved by using the OZ NANI™ information sent directly from the hospital EMR's. A label can be printed from the OZ NBS Telepathy™ and affixed to the specimen card which improves legibility and completeness of data.     OZ Telepathy™ NBS sends an electronic lab order to the state laboratory and to the hospital system's EMR upon specimen submission.  This reduces data entry at the state lab and also allows the hospital to electronically submit the lab order, reducing manual data entry and ensuring that the specimen was completed, and ultimately received by the lab.
