medoauth — HL7 International OID Registry
MedOauth is a patient-centered health information platform and a TEFCA Individual Access Services (IAS) Provider. Patients verify their identity to IAL2 with an approved Credential Service Provider and then request copies of their own medical records from the organizations that hold them. This OID is the root of MedOauth's OID namespace. MedOauth will assign OIDs beneath it to identify its exchange nodes (HomeCommunityIDs used in IHE XCPD and XCA cross-community transactions and listed in the RCE Directory Service), its patient identifier assigning authority, and documents it publishes. A node OID under this root is also used as the audience (aud) value of the IAL2 identity assertions issued to MedOauth by Credential Service Providers under TEFCA.
