Descriptions

ensembl-T — HL7 International OID Registry

Set of reference sequences for transcripts of coding regions. Their identifiers all have a prefix of "ENST." There are parallels for most (if not all) of what is in Ensemble within NCBI. "ENST" parallels NCBI's "NM_" identifiers. In general, Ensembl takes its reference sequences directly from the build. NCBI adjusts its reference sequences by replacing known "mutations" with sequences that better reflect the population "normal".
