    This object specifies whether changes to certain fundamental
    configuration parameters (as specified for the corresponding
    MIB variables) shall cause the device to restart automatically.
    The auto restart functionality is always enabled after
    restarting the bridge.

    NOTICE:
    In general, disabling this functionality is not recommended,
    since some changes may cause the device to behave erratically
    (which may be the reason why the device has to restart).
    However, for the initial configuration of the device (i.e.
    before it is operational, it is usually safe to postpone
    restarting the device until all configuration changes
    have been made.
