    Description by mibdepot

The modem command is an AT command string that the Supervisor uses to configure a dial modem. The default modem command (&Q0S37=9) is used with a V.32 modem to specify no error correction, no data compression, and to negotiate the highest line speed possible.
The modem command parameter allows additional AT commands to be specified to customize the configuration for a particular modem type. The command may be a maximum of 19 characters with no embedded space characters. Refer to a Modem User's Guide for information about valid AT command strings.
