Automatic Gray, Custom Gray, Binary B/W, Halftone B/W
Notes
Automatic Gray-Sets color depth to 8-bit gray and scan
resolution to 200 dpi. Use this option when copying
documents that are black and white or shades of gray. Best
quality output for images.
Custom Gray-Allows you to adjust grayscale values.
Binary B/W-Allows you to adjust binary thresholds. Good for
text.
Halftone B/W-Allows you to adjust the brightness of halftone
images.
Note
In order to change the default grayscale value, you must
choose the Custom Gray option in this menu.
