statistics on a per-port basis (supporting the dot 3
Repeater MIB). When disabled, the module will support
the RMON statistics group and optionally, the RMON
host group.
Along with the host statistics mode, the probe mode allows
the user to tailor this module to serve the user's
network monitoring needs, trading function against
performance (accuracy of statistics).
Important note, changing the probe mode of the module
will cause the module to reset, and to save the module
attributes before resetting.
