download is in progress, the first one in the list is the one currently
being downloaded. As AVs are successfully downloaded, they are
removed from this list and added to the downloadedAvList.
The user cannot specify an AV which already exists on disk. It must
first be removed before re-downloading it (see the Tidy and Remove
commands).
