rph — HL7 International OID Registry
RiverPeak Health is an independently owned, non-profit (501(c)(3)) Prospective Payment System (PPS) hospital currently under construction in Riverton, Wyoming, with planned patient care operations beginning in November 2026. The organization will provide inpatient, emergency, surgical, diagnostic, and outpatient clinical services to the surrounding rural community. The Object Identifier (OID) being requested will serve as the root OID for RiverPeak Health and will be further extended to uniquely identify facilities, patients, providers, devices, and other system entities across the organization. These identifiers will support standardized and consistent object identification in the exchange of health information. The OID will be used to facilitate interoperability across systems, including but not limited to Continuity of Care Documents (CCDs), HL7 messaging interfaces (such as immunization reporting), electronic health record integrations, and required reporting to state and federal agencies. Establishing a Type 3 OID will ensure RiverPeak Health maintains a scalable and structured framework for data exchange as operations expand.
