This object controls number of discrete
sample intervals over which data shall be
accessible in the CODIMA Express History
Database Tables.
When the ctSampleType = longTerm the
value controls how many hours worth of
statistics are accessible.
When the ctSampleType = shortTerm the
value controls how many minutes worth of
statistics are accessible.
Long Term databases use sample intervals
of 15 minutes. Short Term databases use
sample intervals of 15 seconds.
For Long Term databases, setting this
object to a value of 2 will allow 2 hours,
i.e. 8 * 15 minutes, of data gathered by
all the Long Term History Databases,
to be collected via SNMP polling.
Setting this object to the maximum value if 32
will give 32 hours worth of discrete 15 minute
samples.
For Short Term databases, setting this
object to a value of 2 will allow 2 minutes,
i.e. 8 * 15 seconds, of data gathered by
all the Short Term History Databases,
to be collected via SNMP polling.
Setting this object to the maximum value if 32
will give 32 minutes worth of discrete 15 second
samples.
