Options:
switched (1): the port connects each call according to the dialing code
the user enters.
auto_connect (2): calls passing through this port always terminate at the
same remote destination. The port connects to the remote as soon as the
local receiver enters the off-hook state. Any remote can connect to a port
with an auto-connect configuration but when the local user initiates the
call it always goes to the same remote.
fixed (3): calls passing through this port always terminate at the same
remote destination. The port connects to the remote as soon as the local
receiver enters the off-hook state. Only the local and remote destinations
of the connection can use this port. No other remote location can gain
access to this port.
