Displays the dialing method of the operative FXS port. The dialing method
refers to the sound that occurs when the user enters each digit of the
dialing code.
You cannot modify this object. If you want to change the value you must
modify the object cxMcVoxFxsAdmDialType of the cxMcVox Administrative FXS
Driver Group table.
Options:
dtmf (1): (Dual Tone Multifrequence) uses bursts of frequency pairs to
identify the code the user dials. Tones are generated at a level of -7
plus or minus 3 dBm for the lower frequency groups and -5 plus or minus 3
dBm for the higher frequency group. The power level of the higher
frequency tone is intentionally increased to compensate for the higher
line loss.
pulse (2): uses bursts (10 plus or minus 0.5 pps) of the main tone
frequency (2280Hz) to generate the codes the user enters. Tones are
generated at a level of -4 to -30 dBm for the 2280Hz frequency. The number
of pulses during one second indicates the code the user dials. With the
E&M interface, the voice station generates and detects pulses.
