rptrMonTotalFrames OBJECT-TYPE
SYNTAX Counter32
MAX-ACCESS read-only
STATUS current
DESCRIPTION
"The number of frames of valid frame length
that have been received on the ports in this repeater
and for which the FCSError and CollisionEvent
signals were not asserted. If an implementation
can not obtain a count of frames as seen by
the repeater itself, this counter may be
implemented as the summation of the values of the
rptrMonitorPortReadableFrames counters for all of
the ports in the repeater.
This statistic provides one of the parameters
necessary for obtaining the packet error rate.
The approximate minimum time for rollover of this
counter is 80 hours in a 10Mb/s repeater."
