DESCRIPTION
"This index denotes the location of this station
with respect to other stations on the ring. This
index is one more than the number of hops
downstream that this station is from the rmon
probe. The rmon probe itself gets the value one.
When a station becomes inactive, this entry is not
deleted. The value of fddiHostOrderStatus in this
table and the fddiHostStatus in the fddiHost table
are changed to inactive.
If a station becomes active and its entry is already
in the host table, then the value of the
fddiHostOrderStatus object is changed to active.
In addition, if the relative order of the host
entries has changed, it shall increment the
fddiRingHostOrderChanges counter in the fddiRingTable
by one.
On the other hand, if a station becomes active and
its entry is not in the host table, then a new entry
must be created. The new entry is inserted right
after its upstream neighbor. The fddiRingHostOrderChanges
counter in the fddiRingTable shall not be incremented."
