STATUS current
DESCRIPTION "The availability status attribute is set-valued and read-only.
This status attributes allows to further qualify the operational state.
Combinations of the states described below are possible. They are
defined by adding the the contained state values.
Example: in-test + degraded = 2+8 = 10
Defined States:
0 = empty.
1 = powered off :
The module is physically present but not powered. No functional resource is working
(e.g. no software is downloaded).
This state can only be reached by certain modules.
2 = in test: The resource is undergoing a test procedure.
If the administrative state is locked or shutting down then normal
users are precluded from using the resource and the control status
attribute has the value reserved for test.
Tests that do not exclude additional users can be present in any
operational or administrative state but the reserved for test
condition should not be present.
4 = faulty: The module is out of service due to an alarm which will
disappear autonomously after a recovery action has been performed
successfully. A recovery action may be local to the module, performed
by the O&M SW or by the operator.
8 = degraded: The service available from the resource is degraded
in some respect, such as in speed or operating capacity.
Failure of a test or an unacceptable performance measurement
has established that some or all services are not functional
or are degraded due to the presence of a defect.
However, the resource remains available for service, either
because some services are satisfactory or because degraded
service is preferable to no service at all.
Object specific attributes may be defined to represent further
information indicating, for example, which services are not
functional and the nature of the degradation.
An example is the loss of an RF amplifier causing a reduced
power in a given cell.
The operational state is enabled.
16 = dependency: The resource cannot operate because
some other resource on which it depends is (e.g. logical resource
C for .physical resource A) unavailable.
The operational state is disabled.
32 = failed: The resource has an internal fault that prevents it
from operating. The operational state is disabled.
64 = initializing: The resource is currently initialised.
The initializing state does not trigger a state change notification.
Note that initializing is a transient state, which means that it
cannot be applied to alarmAvailabilityStatus."
