snmpEventNextIndex OBJECT-TYPE
SYNTAX INTEGER (0..65535)
MAX-ACCESS read-only
STATUS current
DESCRIPTION
"The index number of the next appropriate
unassigned entry in the snmpEventTable. The value
0 indicates that no unassigned entries are
available.
A management station should create new entries in
the snmpEventTable using this algorithm: first,
issue a management protocol retrieval operation to
determine the value of snmpEventNextIndex; and,
second, issue a management protocol set operation
to create an instance of the snmpEventStatus
object setting its value to `createAndWait or
createAndGo."
