This is the location of the EVS database files with
the first part of the database file name.
The default is /disk1/banyan/evs/data/EVS. This
indicates that the data is kept on
/disk/banyan/evs/data and the files begin with
EVS. To set this object, specify the new filesystem.
EVS will automatically create an EVS directory in this
filesystem. If EVS is able to create the directory,
the set will be successful. However, the set will not
take affect until the next day when the database files rollover or until EVS is restarted. Existing files in
the old directory will be removed.
