When the multicast hash upload is enabled, multicast
messages with multicast address 01-A0-36-00-00-00 will
be interpreted by end stations as a hash upload message.
This will cause the end station to upload its multicast
hash table into the SEC for examination. When disabled,
the respective SEC chips will not generate hash upload
multicast messages nor receive hash tables from end stations.
In order for multicast hash table uploading to be implemented,
the end station device driver must have the ability to
recognize the 01-A0-36-00-00-00 address as a special
consideration. Further, the end station network interface
card implementation must maintain a multicast hash table.
Therefore, do not enable multicast hash uploading unless
the end stations on the port meet the aforementioned
criteria.
